Oh my... One of the perks of being an adult, with my own money is that I can buy THIS. ._. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I am so excited!! They are beautiful!!!!! I can't wait to try them!!! I AM SO HAPPY. These will last a decade!!! Unfortunately, in order to buy them I have to... Work. ._. And lads, it is the second busiest period during the year, so yeah, I am quite exhausted by the time I get home. The seasonal allergy meds are not helping with drowsiness either. So yeah, couldn't really try the new markers yet, but I will as soon as I have some time to do so!!! Stay tuned!
I wish people all a very happy 2024!! The year of the dragon is upon us!!!! I hope this means we all will have a badass and peaceful year to look forward to. Also, I would like to thank all the amazing people who have started watching me, ever since I've started to practice drawing again! I am amazed so many of you are interested in my doodles and I am both flattered and humbled by your attention and kind words!!! WIP! Survived the harsh of winter!
After a few weeks of exhausting work, some COVID and lots of procrastrination, I am getting back on track again! I can't wait for the spring tough. Missing my energizing summer walks. But we are through most of winter now. Attached: WIP of a Christmas present I am working on!
I can't believe it, but after almost a 12 year break, I am back to drawing/sketching every day! And I LOVE it!
As previously mentioned, I am trying to give it some structure as well this time, starting with fundamentals, that I've always been missing. I've already had several "eureka moments", gaining insight of details regarding perspective, shadows, ellipseses, etc. that I haven't been able to grasp before!
Fortunately, there are amazing videos and references on the web. The morale of the staff (>that's me) is high. Seeing all the amazing art and progress others make here too, is so inspiring! If I am watching you: Thank you for sharing your work! And also: Thank you, if you are watching me! <3 Cannot overstate, how motivating you are!
